Riders4Helmets is pleased to announce a partnership with the Mustang Heritage Foundation to encourage helmet usage at the Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover to be held September 15-17 in Fort Worth, TX. To read a press release regarding the incentive click here.
A total of $2000 will be awarded to competitors that sport properly fitting and secured ASTM/SEI certified helmets during the Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover. The Riders4Helmets Helmet Incentive will award $500 to the highest scoring competitor wearing a properly fitting and secured ASTM/SEI certified helmet in each of the following three divisions:
1) Stars division, which is all ground work and in hand.
2) Idols division, which is under saddle and designed for trainers who have not been in the top ten of a Makeover before.
3) Legends division, which is the toughest division of all.
In addition $250 cash and a $250 Equestrian Collections voucher will be awarded through a random drawing of the remaining competitors wearing ASTM/SEI certified helmets.
Goal: The goal of the incentive is not only to get helmets on competitors’ heads but also to use the platform of the SEMM to initiate similar helmet safety incentives at other events nationwide.
