So happy to see TWO OLYMPIC RIDERS wearing helmets in OLYMPIC competition today! My hat’s off (while not on a horse!) to Emma Kanerva of FINLAND, and Jacquie Brooks from CANADA! That took some doing! But they are true advocates of how a helmet can save your butt.. even on a well trained Grand Prix horse! (I was really frightened for one rider – who’s horse spooked in the arena – and that mishap could have gone terribly wrong.. even on such a wonderful well trained horse!)
